Richard Tower Mep
Milan, Italy
The project involved part of the office tower complex built in the mid-1980s by the entrepreneur Ligresti, located on Viale Giulio Richard. These buildings exhibited evident issues both with the building envelope and the systems.
The project focused on the complete transformation of tower number 3 to host the new headquarters of a multinational communications company. The intervention included the total redevelopment of the buildings to restore new prestige and efficiency to the complex from both an architectural and energy standpoint. We were directly involved in the creation of the BIM model and the project documents for both electrical and mechanical systems, as well as coordination activities.
A great deal of attention was paid to the accuracy in modeling the systems, both from a geometric perspective and for the design information contained. This precision allowed the optimization of available space for vertical system passages and their respective horizontal branches, leading to the comprehensive modeling of the systems, including all accessories necessary for their operation.
